Journyx, based in Austin, Texas, automates payroll, billing and cost accounting while easing management of employee time and expenses, and provides confidence that all resources are utilized correctly and completely. The 2012 Journyx Scholarship is designed to inspire creativity in time management strategies and will provide one student (currently enrolled as a graduate or undergraduate student at a university in the United States) with $500 USD towards his or her tuition and fees.

Entry Information

To enter the 2012 Journyx Scholarship, write a blog post of up to 600 words that answers the following question:

How can modern businesses creatively use time-management strategies to increase productivity?

The author of the best blog post, as chosen by our panel of judges, will be awarded $500 USD towards his or her tuition and fees. We'll only accept one blog post per person, so make sure you've done your best before you send in your entry. Journyx will not return blog posts submitted by contestants.

We will feature the winning entry, as well as any worthy runners-up, on the Journyx blog (http://journyx.com/blog). We will announce the winning entry via press release which will be distributed to the media.

To apply for the scholarship, submit the following materials, along with your blog post, between July 2, 2012 and November 2, 2012:

• An official academic transcript containing the entrant's spring 2012 semester grades for the academic year in progress.
• A copy of entrant's résumé that includes e-mail address, campus address and phone number, student ID number, permanent address and phone number, major and expected graduation date.

To be eligible, all application materials must be received by 5:00pm CDT on November 2, 2012 for the academic semester beginning January of 2012.
