Faces of Journyx
Curt founded Journyx in 1996. He helps Journyx employees achieve fulfillment by helping our clients understand their costs. Curt’s mission is to help everyone understand that Journyx makes a real difference in the world. Curt’s favorite thing about Journyx is “seeing the company bring technology forward to solve hard problems for real people who need our help.”
Though officially an employee of AimSourcing, Barbara has been working with Journyx since 2002. She is responsible for insurance plan administration, and employee relations including hiring, reviews and payroll. Additionally, Barbara handles all aspects of billing and accounts receivable. Barbara’s favorite thing about Journyx is “friendly, caring co-workers as well as corresponding and working with customers around the world.”
Amanda joined Journyx in 2002. She is responsible for ensuring that Journyx manages strategic and operational risk, in order to honor the trust of our customers, employees, and stakeholders. Amanda’s favorite thing about Journyx is “our integrity. No one at Journyx ever wonders whether to put the customer's needs first -- we always know that's the final answer to any question.”
Engineering and Development
John joined Journyx in 1999. He is responsible for oversight of the Journyx development and IT teams, including the Journyx hosted services offering. John’s favorite thing about Journyx is “getting to come to work every day with people who I really like and who are all focused on contributing to the success of our customers.”
Meredith joined Journyx in 1999. She is responsible for taking customer requirements and market trends and turning them into products that add significant, tangible value to the organizations that purchase them. Her work involves “all things product” from research, development and QA, to product promotion and follow-up support. Meredith’s favorite thing about Journyx is “that all employees have the power and freedom to give our customers what they really need.”
Preston joined Journyx in 2000. He is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting the software created at Journyx. His focus is on software architecture and internal systems. Preston’s favorite thing about Journyx is “the independent spirit and unique culture that has kept this company going for so many years.”
Ben joined Journyx in 2013. He is responsible for resolving support issues at the developer level. Ben works with other Journyx team members to solve support and development issues. His favorite thing about Journyx is "the people that work here and the Journyx products."
Matt joined Journyx in 2013. As a .NET C# programmer with 18 years of full software development life cycle experience, he is responsible for development of Journyx products, specifically for Microsoft Dynamics. Matt says about Journyx that it is the "best company I have ever worked for! Great team, work environment, supportive management and a true sense that daily efforts impact the success of the company. I’ve never seen a company this size where most of the top people have been here for more than a decade. People like working here, and I understand why."
Matt joined Journyx in 2002. He is responsible for helping customers with issues and errors within the software. He works directly with the Journyx Development team to correct any issues. Matt’s favorite thing about Journyx is “helping customers be successful.”
Travis joined Journyx in 2013. He is responsible for working with customers to resolve issues related to Journyx software. Travis’ favorite thing about Journyx is “the people. Journyx has great employees committed to making the customer’s experience the very best.”
Jeremy joined Journyx in 2013. He works directly with Journyx clients who want more features than are available “out of the box” with the standard Journyx or Journyx PX application. Jeremy determines the detailed technical requirements and develops, tests and delivers custom software to fulfill those requirements. His favorite thing about Journyx is that “it is such an honest and easy-to-understand environment. What you see is what you get at Journyx, and I really like that. Everyone I work with is eminently competent and always eager to assist in any way they can, from the tech support team to the CEO.”
Windflower joined Journyx in 2008. She is responsible for working with customers to design and develop custom solutions for their unique business needs. She works closely with the rest of the Professional Services, Development and Support teams to accomplish these goals and provide ongoing support for these custom tools. Windflower’s favorite thing about Journyx is that “Journyx is a principled company because it is run by people who live by their own principles. The people work together as a team, helping and actively sharing knowledge with each other.”
Jessica joined Journyx in 2014. She is responsible for working with customers and educating them on how Journyx fits best in their business environment, and making sure they have tools for long-term success with tools that provide significant insight into their business processes. Jessica’s favorite thing about Journyx is working with like-minded individuals to provide customized business solutions to organizations that need them.”
Melissa joined Journyx in 2004. She works primarily alongside Journyx customers to implement the features and tools of Journyx that maximize their solution value and best integrate with their existing processes. Prior to joining our PS team, Melissa spent 7 years identifying customer needs and managing customer relationships as part of the Journyx sales organization. Melissa’s favorite thing about Journyx is "getting the privilege to creatively work with our amazing clients and support their critical business needs. My hope is that when our engagements are complete they become better and more efficient with Journyx solutions in place. When we are successful they can focus on being great at the business they are in and not the problems associated with visibility to costs or resource constraints. No two customers are alike, doing the same things for the same reasons. That makes what I am able to do extremely unique and gratifying!"
Sales and Account Management
Brian joined Journyx in 2001. He is responsible for leading the Sales efforts both from the new sales side and within existing Journyx customers. Brian’s favorite thing about Journyx is “the work environment and the people that I work with.”
Rhonda joined Journyx in 2004. She is responsible for working with existing customers to see that their needs are constantly met and to better understand how the Journyx solution can help to increase profits within their specific organization on an ongoing basis. Rhonda’s favorite thing about Journyx is “the desire to achieve customer satisfaction and the teamwork within Journyx.”
Austin joined Journyx in 2014. He is responsible for bringing in new customers by understanding the needs of prospects and showing them how Journyx can help them maximize time and expense across their businesses. Austin's favorite thing about Journyx is “the blend of a fun work environment with unquestionable integrity in its business practices.”
David joined Journyx in 2015. He is responsible for generating new business by uncovering prospects needs and helping them understand how Journyx can solve their complex time and expense tracking needs. David’s favorite thing about Journyx is “the integrity that we have throughout our organization. From standing behind our solution and making sure our product is exactly what our clients are looking for, to all of us working as a team to solve complex customer problems.”
Mike joined Journyx in 2015. He is responsible for bringing in new customers by understanding their needs and showing them how Journyx maximizes time and expenses across all of their business functions. Mike’s favorite thing about Journyx is “the work hard, play hard attitude we all have. We really enjoy working together, and I think it shows when prospective customers talk with us about our product.”
Marketing and Communications
Kari joined Journyx in 2015. She is responsible for directing all marketing and communications activities pertaining to both new customer acquisition and existing customers. Kari has extensive experience in B2B marketing, and previously worked for companies within the technology/software industries.
Alyssa joined Journyx in 2013. She is responsible for supporting all marketing and advertising efforts for customers prospective and nurtured, including strategy, content curation and campaigns. Additionally, she coordinates all aspects of Journyx' social media presence. Alyssa’s favorite thing about Journyx is “working for a company with open people and open ideas, willing to be both parts witty and bold.”
