Journyx Teams with IBM to Power New Internet Business Service
Managemark chooses Journyx Timesheet ASP
AUSTIN, Texas, USA — April 24, 2000 — Journyx announced today a partnership with Managemark, the maker of the best-selling Quicken ExpensAble expense management solution, to offer a new ASP business-to-business service for workforce management. Managemark will offer TimetrakAble, an online time tracking service for project tracking, billing, and payroll, powered by a co-developed version of the market share leading Web-based time management application, Journyx Timesheet.
After considering a host of potential partners, Managemark selected Journyx as the best-of-breed time tracking technology provider in the Web-based workforce management space. A key factor in Journyx’s ability to meet the Managemark’s scalability requirements for TimetrakAble was the Journyx partnership with IBM (NYSE: IBM, News). TimetrakAble uses IBM’s WebSphere Application Server for a robust and scalable e-business deployment platform for Journyx Timesheet.
