Journyx Announces Product Integration with Intuit's QuickBooks

AUSTIN, Texas, USA, — November 13, 1998 — Journyx, the primary provider of web-based timesheet solutions, today announced enhanced functionality by integrating Journyx Timesheet with QuickBookstm, the leading accounting and financial package for small businesses.

Key aspects of QuickBookstm Integration
"We see adding the integration package with Intuit QuickBookstm to Journyx Timesheet 2.0 as enabling a whole new category of users to benefit from our enterprise-class functionality." stated Bill Leake, VP of Marketing. "Our timesheet customers have typically been Fortune 1000 enterprises and large consultancies. With this integration, the small business universe can now quickly and easily implement a full-featured, web-based timesheet solution that communicates with their accounting package."

Many accounting packages, including QuickBookstm, typically include some basic timesheet functionality, but companies engaged in project-driven work or with a dispersed workforce rapidly outgrow the capabilities of these systems. Unfortunately, companies deploying a stand-alone timesheet product often have difficulties accurately and easily moving that timesheet data into their accounting package for billing and invoicing.

To take advantage of Journyx Timesheet's integration with QuickBookstm, customers simply go to the Journyx web page at http://www.journyx.com for download instructions. As always, all Journyx Timesheet products are available for a completely free evaluation. Users can, as before, use any web browser, including text-mode browsers, to enter their timesheet data, allowing for convenient and easy timesheet entry whether on the corporate intranet, or from the other side of the world.

"My people are usually working from home or at a client site, and are rarely at the office. Timesheet collection and data entry used to be a nightmare," says Dean Score, president of SRDI, a rapidly growing technical contracting firm. "Having a web timesheet solution, Journyx Timesheet, integrated with Quickbookstm has allowed me to easily track and bill for hours worked. Fast, accurate invoicing has been a key factor in SRDI's nearly 30-fold growth over the past two years."

Journyx Timesheet Requirements
The client system for Journyx Timesheet 2.1 requires access to a browser, including Netscape, Microsoft, Mosaic, and Lynx. Journyx Timesheet itself has no client-side footprint, greatly reducing the administrative burden for installations and upgrades.
