Journyx Announces Server Protection Service
Leader in web-based time tracking solutions goes the extra mile to be sure customers' data is always available.
AUSTIN, Texas, USA, May 27, 2004 Journyx announced today general availability of its new service offering, Journyx Server Protection. The Journyx Server Protection service guarantees that, in the event of a server failure at the customer's site, Journyx will take the customer's most recent Timesheet backup file and establish an ASP hosted installation with that data that the customer will be able to use in the exact manner that they're accustomed to, with only a change to the URL.
"No one else in our space has the ability to offer this kind of service. This really sets Timesheet apart from other solutions," said Curt Finch, CEO of Journyx. "Sometimes bad things happen to servers, and when that happens to one of our customers Journyx is there to make sure that the core business process of time and expense tracking is still online. Whether we're helping CEOs keep their companies on track or making certain that hard-working front-line employees get their paycheck on time in the event of a server crash, Journyx Server protection provides an important form of insurance for our customers."
Journyx Server Protection is made possible by the networking strength inherent in UNIX-based operating systems like Linux. Because Journyx Timesheet is the only major time and expense tracking application on the market today that operates natively on Linux as well as Windows, it is able to leverage that strength into the SPI offering.
Journyx Server Protection is available today as a free service available to all Timesheet users who have a current, paid maintenance contract with Journyx. For more information on Timesheet and Journyx SPI, please contact the Journyx Sales Team at sales@journyx.com
