About the jxAPI

The jxAPI is a remote, network-accessible interface to a Journyx Timesheet server that allows your client application to manipulate the contents of a Timesheet installation without directly modifying the underlying database. You can use the jxAPI for remote time and expense input, transferring information between Timesheet and another system, and much more.

Because the jxAPI uses the industry standard SOAP protocol with WSDL, you can use it with almost any language or application platform including Microsoft .NET, Java, and popular scripting languages. Because SOAP is built on the same protocols as the web, you can use the jxAPI to build applications that access your Timesheet service from anywhere on the Internet or on your corporate intranet. (If you can access the web interface of Journyx Timesheet, your application can access the jxAPI.)
