Pedersen & Pedersen Increases Invoicing and Project Accounting Accuracy Using Journyx

What Journyx did for us:
We’ve found Journyx Timesheet to work quite well for our needs. We’ve demanded lots of data and reports from the software in regards to our time tracking, billing, payroll and invoicing, and it hasn’t let us down.
Their Story
Pedersen & Pedersen, Inc. focuses on civil and environmental engineering, surveying and mapping, and serves a diverse client base that ranges from major corporate entities to small startup operations. The company develops practical and cost-effective solutions by working with clients to define problems and to develop problem-solving techniques.
As a surveying and engineering firm, Pedersen & Pedersen, Inc. deals in projects from home mortgage surveys to multi-million dollar land development. Consequently, effective billing and invoicing processes are essential to their business, but linking together Microsoft Excel spreadsheets was not working for them – it was too time-consuming and left much room for error.
Solution
Pedersen & Pedersen chose to implement Journyx Timesheet after learning from Journyx staff members exactly how the software would improve their processes. Pedersen & Pedersen now has 50 licensed users of Timesheet and uses the software for time tracking, billing, payroll, invoicing and project management. The most dramatic improvement is that invoicing – previously, their biggest hurdle — is now manageable. Accurate invoicing data is now in one location and can easily be recalled, enabling them to consistently deliver invoices in a timely manner. Project accounting accuracy has also increased substantially. Employees who previously spent much of their time on these functions are now free to complete other tasks that normally would have been delayed.
