Stock & Option Solutions (SOS) is used by hundreds of organizations for stock plan administration, management and equity consulting services for companies offering equity compensation and benefit programs to its employees. To manage time and projects, SOS employees were manually entering data into Excel spreadsheets, which resulted in improper project codes, an inability to easily provide details around time spent on a project, and a large amount of time consumed for reentering the information into other systems. SOS needed a web-based timesheet and expense management solution that is cost effective, could be quickly implemented and links to QuickBooks. Timesheet was the perfect solution.
Solution
SOS now uses Journyx Timesheet for all employee time tracking, including internal projects. SOS drives the data from Timesheet into QuickBooks. Journyx Accountlink, the Timesheet/QuickBooks integration suite, tracks employee time and expenses with Timesheet and imports that data to an organization’s QuickBooks installation for better billing.
Results
As SOS used Journyx Timesheet and gained a “big picture” view of employee time and projects, they learned how an expertly developed and finely-tuned time management system that tracks project management, billing, and professional payroll can become a window into the real-time costs of any organization.
