Version 10.0 Updates its Interface for Easier Use and Gives Customers Ability to Track Project Profitability, While Version 4.0 of Mobile App Provides Approval Capability

AUSTIN, TEXAS (April 5, 2016) – Journyx today proudly announces new versions of both its time and expense tracking software and the Journyx mobile app. Version 10.0 of Journyx and Journyx PX for resource management, sports a brand new interface that makes it easier for users to input time and expenses, generate reports, and more. Version 4.0 of the mobile app allows supervisors to approve timesheets on their mobile devices.

In addition, version 10.0 offers new features that make reporting easier and provide deeper insights into profitability, including the Project Profitability report, which allows reporting on project budgets compared to actual work and expenses with work, cost and profit variances.

Updates Based on User Feedback

Journyx version 10.0 focuses on user interface and reporting improvements that make it easier to get accurate time and expense data into the Journyx system quickly, as well as pull quality data out of Journyx in a format to fit any organization’s particular needs. The improvements to the time and expense entry screens provide users with the tools to pick the correct projects, adhere to company rules for types and amounts entered, and do it all quickly so that they don’t put too much effort into filling out timesheets.

The additional 10.0 features for improving project financial reporting and 3rd party integrations allow companies to use the data to make critical business decisions and feed other major business systems.

Approving Time and Expenses from Anywhere

Workforce mobility continues to become increasingly important in many types of organizations, as does the need to gather time and expense data from employees who are always on the move (such as traveling, working at multiple sites, or working in the field).

With the addition of a new version of the Journyx mobile app, version 4.0, new types of users can choose the way they access Journyx’s time and expense software for their daily work. In previous versions, users were able to enter and submit their time and expenses. In version 4.0, supervisors can now approve timesheets, expenses and projects on any iOS or Android mobile device.
